Eh, did you even watch the youtube link before you started posting this? Or are you simply reacting because i don't share your practice of bashing the PAP government, instead believing that they have done more good than bad?
Basically what they're saying is that Taiwan was the only country that saved Singapore after Independence,saying even Israel didn't want to help us. Both of us have knowledge of history, and we both know that isn't true. But they're emphasizing on it to inflat their own ego.
And no, i don't believe that the government leaders deserved the wages because they really are exceptionally talented but i can see the reason why you need to pay iso much for them.
Drop the sacarsm, it's rude and annoying.
