      Anyway i would like to ask if how many people are there who are not comfortable about raising issues like the Death Penalty in Singapore and Freedom of Speech... and what do you think about it... Its a forum afterall to discuss..

      eh? if i'm not comfortable with issues but still speak up on them or post about them here am i using the freedom of speech to protest against the freedom of speech?

      Nope... it must be at the state of being free from any kind of subjugation psychologically or physically in order to bring issues up.. in my opinion that allows more thinking...

      What do i think about it?

      Well i feel the Death Penalty is pretty neccesary to discourage drug trafficking/kidnapping/murder. But whether someone is convicted of murder or manslaughter that is up to the courts to decide.

      Drug trafficking/kidnapping is extremely destablizing to a society, so i agree with the harsh penalties. At the very least, the traffickers will find it hard to get anyone to smuggle it here.

      Are there any more crimes that have the death penalties?

      Freedom of Speech is a mixed bag. I agree we shouldn't touch Religion and Race, though more open debate on economical and social issues would definitely be more welcomed.

      Well about amnesty, i think they have to find out more to defend their stance regarding singapores issue on death penalty... and yes with freedom comes with responsibility we i think it is a good thing to take it...

      well theres always limit... i know what i mean of cos... definitely not riot (riot applies only for rare circumstances and justification)..

      than how open will it be to your liking? russia is not a very ambitious target.
