Why we need a degree? replied by Lorry` @ Fri, 04 Jul 2008 21:51:26 +0800

imo, having a Degree is not really necessary.. it very much
depends on what field your into.

But of course, a degree gives you assurance, it helps you to
proof to others that your a degree holder.. but do you really have
the skills? Or just a paper to show off? That's another story.

And also, theres Experience. But if you have the skills, you
dont have to worry much. It just takes time.......

Have degree but no skills = Nothing
Have degree and have skills = Something
Have degree and have skills plus experience = <img src=

fck lar!

I have dis fren who is from another class, lets call her A. she
has no D&T txtbk so i lent it her. A soon lost it saying that
she passed to a classmate of mine. this classmate of mine, B
however, i was not very close with her. we barely talk so i was
like, passing my txtbk to someone who i barely knew??? and now when
it's lost. A does not want to take responsibility and is like
wadever when I ask her for it. asking B was also pointless cause
she said she passed to someone who she can't even remember. I
confront A to investigate and find my book because i placed her
responsible for it but she did not bothered and act as if nothing
had happen. Now I don't even know who is to be responsible. this
have gone on for about a term already. I'm already getting into
trouble with my D&T teacher because of it. A even calls me a
lowlife... I really feel like beating her up and ask her to cough
out the money for my txtbk. I can't blame B because i did not place
her responsible for it. .. A can still even borrow D&T
txtbk from my other classmate without any guilt of losing my
txtbk..

Originally posted by macjoe:

vk, you've got to hear this stuff. i'm listening to it. in one
case, he shared a story of a 23-yr old woman who got breast cancer
and she was going to undergo surgery to remove the tumor. she paid
him a visit before the surgery to get pointers on how not to
prevent it from coming back after the surgery. he tried to persuade
her not to undergo surgery and she punched him. it was very
difficult for her to change her mind after she decided on it. he
taught her enough how to heal herself for her to decide and she
gave it a try on her own. 7 days later, when she went for a scan,
the tumor shranked by half. in summary, he changed her environment,
diet and lifestyle with a juicer, lots of organic veg and an active
exercise program. hear him out about his natural healing
methods.

I have heard such stories before and to me, it's one big hell of a
risk because I have seen the results of such double-blind
experiments before and only 1 in a hundred made it through.

I have cervical cancer again. replied by macjoe @ Fri, 04 Jul 2008 17:43:05 +0800

vk, you've got to hear this stuff. i'm listening to it. in one
case, he shared a story of a 23-yr old woman who got breast cancer
and she was going to undergo surgery to remove the tumor. she paid
him a visit before the surgery to get pointers on how not to
prevent it from coming back after the surgery. he tried to persuade
her not to undergo surgery and she punched him. it was very
difficult for her to change her mind after she decided on it. he
taught her enough how to heal herself for her to decide and she
gave it a try on her own. 7 days later, when she went for a scan,
the tumor shranked by half. in summary, he changed her environment,
diet and lifestyle with a juicer, lots of organic veg and an active
exercise program. hear him out about his natural healing
methods.
