go to any lucky plaza shop will have. around 599 for the set only.
to get dualshock 3 add 45. to get blu ray function add another 200

Sony also have to buy 2 games, everyone who is an authorized dealer, would have a "1 console + 2 software" package from sony.
Which means, sony makes dealers buy 2 software for 1 ps3, if the dealers dun enforce the same policy as sony, then at the end of the day, console sell finish games alot.
Shops who sell ps3 without the need for you to buy game, better becareful, might be parallel imports.
And please dun buy what fan, cooler for your ps3, alot of ppl try to rip you off by selling you these "usefull accesories" at high prices.
And dun pay anything for modifications regardless if its dvd region free, blu-ray playback, game region free or whatever, another form of making you pay for something non-existence.

Anyways mr uaremyfayth. Any difference with the 40GB PS 3 n 60 , 80 , besides the obvious memory size. I am more about the components etc. regarding the newer Ps3 consoles with the Dual shock 3 console. Any substantial difference in software hardware ?
