Can book out in Long 4?

  Frm wad i understand ,there is no directive dat u cant book out in Long 4 rite?
  provided dere is no clear instructions frm yr unit dat it is nt allowed?
  
  cos i haf seen regulars n officers out on e street wif LOng 4.

  According to the dress regulation, NO.4 is combat fatigue so is meant to be worn long. They are designed such that the sleeves can be folded to be worn as smart 4, which is essentially a working dress equivalant to NO. 3. This is to facilitate most soldiers with no NO.3 dress.
  
  that said, unit can impose their own house rules regarding this issue to ensure soldier book out smartly and with clean fatigue.

  during my last ICT in mid-07, we were told to let down our sleeves when we book-in in Smart 4...apparently due to high dengue fever rate, so trying to reduce the chances of getting stung.
  
  So we booked in/out in long 4......

  KNN....that time i went to emart and the sentry ask me to tuck-in my t-shirt into my jeans before i can enter the camp.
